Resident Permit for Family:
If one is a Residence Permit holder while undertaking a higher educational program, then the wives of the Residents Permit holders and their children who are less than 18 years of age are also issued the permit.
Application Procedure:
The Resident permit application consists of two parts, the latter of which needs to be filled by the educational institute and provide the necessary concerned papers. When the admission letter is received along with the return of the visa application form, the student will fill in the required relevant information. After the necessary documents are attached this form will be submitted at the embassy. The case will be dispatched to the Immigration of Denmark, who will take the final decision. In the meanwhile you can be asked to provide further documentation if required. If your application is rejected by immigration, then you can file an appeal with the ‘ministry of integration’.
