Germany offers education in German language. Although a few of the higher level courses are also available in the English language. If you wish to peruse higher studies in Germany, then you should obtain some basic German language skill while still in Pakistan. For this purpose the ‘Goethe Institute’ has been accredited and approved for this purpose by the German consulate. German educational institutes require the DHS language test as a prerequisite in order to get admitted into the institute.
For getting admission in the courses which are taught in English, the student is required to have at least cleared the TOFEL written examination with minimum 550 points or the computerized exam with 213 points. As a replacement to the TOFEL exam IELTS with 6 Band is also acceptable.
